Lucie believes therapy begins with a genuine relationship where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves. Her approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and collaborative. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and humanistic approaches, tailoring therapy to each client’s needs and goals.
Lucie works with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, identity development, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and school-related concerns. She also welcomes military- and veteran-connected individuals and families. Her clinical background includes individual and group counseling in clinical and school-based settings, including work with diverse and trauma-impacted populations. These experiences inform her culturally responsive, strengths-based approach to care.
Lucie earned her Master of Science in Counseling and Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential from California State University, Sacramento, where her graduate research examined the effects of trauma on educational outcomes. She approaches clients with empathy, authenticity, and curiosity, working collaboratively to build on their strengths and move toward meaningful goals.
