We're looking for dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapists who are ready to grow their skills within a high-standard, private practice environment.
At Pinnacle Counseling Group, we provide a seamless, professional experience for our clients and a supportive, growth-oriented environment for our clinicians. We are dedicated to the long-term success of our Associates, providing the tools and mentorship necessary to build a thriving caseload and prepare you for a successful future in private practice, if you choose.
APCCs and ACSWs may also be eligible for this role, depending on their supervision needs and applicable BBS regulations. We encourage all qualified candidates to apply.
For all billable client sessions. Your clinical time is fully compensated at a competitive rate aligned with the Sacramento market.
For documentation, required supervision, approved meetings, and administrative tasks.
Employees are eligible for bonuses tied to caseload volume. The 2026 structure includes an additional $10/hr for clinical hours between 21–24, and an additional $15/hr for all clinical hours over 24.
Regular supervision and performance feedback consistent with BBS requirements, supporting your path to full licensure.
Optional health insurance through Covered California, plus access to California Paid Family Leave and Reproductive Loss Leave.
Access to a robust virtual CE library, plus in-house trainings and guest speakers integrated into your supervision experience.
At least 40 hours (5 days) of paid sick leave per year, in accordance with California state law.
We accept major PPO insurance and private pay. Our team actively supports you in building and maintaining a full, thriving caseload.
Our model teaches caseload management and professional marketing — equipping you with the foundation for private practice when you're ready.
